The Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety qualification is aimed at candidates working as a health and safety practitioner, in a position of responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of a team or organisation. The qualification is generic and appropriate for individuals working in a range of sectors.

Our Assessors

Every assessor at PIP has extensive hands-on experience in the construction sector. As a result they can provide the most appropriate knowledge and a realistic approach to learning. The assessors will work to support candidates, employers, and other stakeholders, delivering training plans and mapping out expected progression; this makes attainment easier.

Who is this course for?

It has been designed for people who have an element of responsibility for health and safety in their workplace. Typical roles include Team Leader, Supervisor, Safety Representative, Manager, Head of Department or equivalent.

Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however candidates must have a stable internet connection and a computer or tablet with a camera and audio capabilities and be able to log onto Zoom to attend both the induction session as well as each unit based professional discussion session.
PIP Services Ltd will carry out an initial assessment of candidate skills and knowledge (Skill Scan) to confirm their suitability to complete this qualification.
This qualification does not expire, however PIP Services Ltd allow a maximum of 2 years to complete the course.

Career path

The NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety Practice is a Higher-Education Level qualification – equivalent to a NEBOSH General Certificate and meets the demanding standards of occupational health and safety practice within any industry. It meets the requirement for Technical Membership (TechIOSH)
